I remember back in the early 2000s. My mom had to have cataract surgery on her eye. She could only see out of that one eye. I think I had to put drops in her eye for a few days and that was the end of it. After that she could see just fine. No problems. Only had one follow up visit with the eye doctor.

No doubt! I think that was the norm, but it changed likely to big pharma's push for more, more and more. I cut drops way back.. Based on the censored studies I found, what was prescribed to me was something like 10x the safe limit, so I cut it way back and I'm fine - no post-op issued and no dry eye. Funny how the system makes it dangerous to even share our personal experiences - tells us a lot right there.
